In what many are calling the fight of the decade, Terence Crawford proved why he sits atop the pound-for-pound rankings with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Crawford's switch-hitting style proved to be the puzzle that Canelo couldn't solve. Moving seamlessly between orthodox and southpaw stances, Crawford controlled distance and timing throughout the 12-round contest.

The Scorecard

The judges scored the bout 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112, all in favor of Crawford. While Canelo had moments in the middle rounds, Crawford's jab and lateral movement kept him a step ahead for the majority of the fight.
